That is at the normal place after evening flying at Binham (club meeting) so if anyone doesn't know where to go, they just need to join the party at Andrew Taylor's. All provided except alcohol, so if anyone wants a beer they should bring their own (or share someone else's!) Cheers. (POSTPONED DUE TO BAD WEATHER)

Well...it has flown at last.... couldn't think of any more excuses...a far from ideal day at Muckleburgh.... grey and gusty...saw my 98" turboprop powered Raven take to the air.... Nick was on the sticks...as I tried to get some shakey video.... after 5 minutes flying, 1Litre of fuel and some gentle aerobatics, a safely down dead stick landing, had me smiling and Nick somewhat relieved I think.... don't know what all the fuss was about.

I seem to have caught the 'turbine bug' rather badly.... and recently chose the hottest day of the year to drive to Devon to pick up a scratch built, Wren MW54 powered, A7 Corsair (SLUF)..... looks like a tarmac runway job here though....

Whilst looking for information on the Corsair I came across this website containing a film from 1942 on instructing new pilots how to handle the F4U...... yikes! there's a lot to think about there.... before heading back to land on a flat top bobbing about in the Pacific....

NOTE OUR NEW WEBSITE HOSTING AND ADDRESS.... this should give us some more space for club video footage etc...and another good reason to 'get online'!!
